Me & My Brain 🧠
A journey born from curiosity and resilience — where science meets storytelling, and where even in the darkest nights, hope keeps asking “why?” I’m Ola Yusrai, a medical student from Gaza, and this is my faithful partner, Brain. Together, we explore the wonders of medicine, life, and imagination.

Brain: “My friend… why does this happen?”
Me: “Curiosity again? Alright then, let’s search, understand, and uncover the reason together.”
That’s how our story began — with curiosity. In the quiet nights of Gaza, I used to talk to my brain about the stars, the body, and the miracle of life. Those conversations shaped my dream: to study medicine and make science feel alive, human, and full of wonder.
When war destroyed my home, I lost my research papers — but not my passion. Knowledge doesn’t burn; it lives within us. Through this blog, I’m bringing that light back, transforming pain into purpose and science into storytelling.
💡 Vision
To build a bridge between science and emotion — where knowledge becomes a source of hope, healing, and inspiration for everyone.
🎯 Mission
To make medicine and science accessible and relatable through creativity, stories, and human experiences — reminding the world that curiosity can survive even the hardest times.
Dialogues with Brain
Most of what I write comes from small talks with my brain — he’s curious, sarcastic, and surprisingly wise. Together, we turn science into conversation and imagination into understanding.
🌙 The Message Behind My Brain Speak
My blog isn’t just about facts — it’s about hope. It’s about reminding ourselves that knowledge can bloom even in the darkest places, and that creativity is the light that keeps us going.
“Beautiful exhaustion” — the kind that comes with purpose and passion.
